Kyla is joining Sensity from her final year of Bachelors of Music Therapy (BMT) at Wilfrid Laurier University. Kyla has experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Dementia and Alzheimer's. Kyla was on Team Canada for the International Presentation of Performers in Los Angles and has won first in the Norfolk Talent Competition. Kyla has been writing music since she was a child. Kyla has written music for different genres including pop, country, folk and classical. She has also written an EP CD titled Kyla Lance.
During her time with Sensity, Kyla will be involved in Music Therapy sessions and also lead individual sessions with staff using the ImmersX vibro tactile chair by combining music and imagery.
