Brant eRide is a shared ride technology-based public transportation service that provides flexible options for travelling within the County of Brant, into the City of Brantford and back.

I highly recommend Brant eRide!!! If you need to get in and out of Brantford to a few communities, they run 7 days a week, you can book through the phone app and they will text you when they are on their way! First 4 trips are free. After that, you can be picked up at your location and dropped off where you like for $3 a trip!

Monday to Friday - 6:00 am - 9:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday - 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Best part of booking is that you can book without having to talk to someone, which is perfect when you can't hear. And when your ride is on its way, you will get a text message. You can call if you want, but you can book through an app on your phone. The vehicle is easy to spot as it has Brant eRide on it.

I love that I can get to Paris to work at my volunteer job at Sensity where all the adaptive supports are already in place. I am grateful that I can now get to places like Burford and St. George, if I need to get work supplies. It gives me more independence and makes me feel like I am no longer isolated or restricted to going to locations where there is transportation, though accommodations may not be adequate.

I am able to use the app and text-based booking, which as someone with profound hearing loss, gives me my independence back as I don’t have to ask friends to call for me.

This allows for me to get into surrounding communities and attend activities in the community like St. George Applefest. This also allows people who are deafblind the opportunity to join the HOH peer support group that I co-facilitate.

eRide gives me the option to live in affordable homes outside Brantford and still be able to get to Brantford and back for appointments.

It allows me to keep my intervention (Intervenor Services) for what it is intended instead of taking time away because of travel.
