Music Therapy Grant to Cover Program Funding for One Year
We are proud to say that participation fees for Music Therapy for all people Sensity supports will be covered for one year beginning April 1, 2021.
This is possible through generous funding provided by the Brant United Way. Sensity received a $7,200 grant through the United Way’s 2021-22 funding program.
We hope the savings encourage more people to take part in Music Therapy.
“If you’ve never tried Music Therapy, this is great chance to sign up for an online session to learn what it has to offer,” said Brian Shypula, manager of strategic engagement.
“Similarly, if you were one of the regulars at our in-person Music Therapy activities and are missing it during the pandemic, why not try an online session,” he added.
Music Therapist Amy DiNino and interns Kyla, Tiana and James welcome new participants.
Individuals can register through the monthly Activity Calendar or contact Special Projects Intervenor, Katrina via e-mail at activity@sensity.ca
Sensity was one of 25 services in the community to receive funding support from the Brant United Way for 2021-22.
It was the first time Sensity applied.
“We look forward to continuing to work and explore new opportunities with Brant United Way in the future,” Shypula said.
