Sensory Exploration Day

June 8 | 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

A hands-on celebration of awareness, inclusion, and discovery with the County of Brant.

In celebration of Deafblind Awareness Month, we’re inviting you to a meaningful and interactive day where learning comes alive through the senses. Sensory Exploration Day is a unique opportunity for the community to step into a world of discovery, connection, and inclusion.
At the heart of this event are sensory stations- each one offering a chance to see, hear, touch, and smell the world in a new way. These engaging activities are not only fun, but also thoughtfully designed to reflect how people who are Deafblind experience and navigate the world.

Every station offers a unique sensory experience designed to promote understanding and curiosity for Deafblind Awareness month. Attendees can use a Sensory Passport to explore and learn- and have the chance to become a “Sensory Explorer”!
